1.转译成动词
1）名词转译成动词

他父亲不抽烟，他抽起来却一根接着一根。
2）介词转译成动词

我仍然认为，中国希望加入世贸组织，同我们希望她成为其中一员，这两个愿望是一样的。
South Africa has refused to heed the legitimate appeal of the United Nationsforco-operation. 南非无视联合国要求合作的正当呼吁。
3)形容词转译成动词
英语中表示知觉、情欲、欲望等心理状态的形容词，在系动词后作表语用时，往往可转译成动词。如：confident, certain, careful, cautious, angry, sure, ignorant, afraid, doubtful, aware, concerned, glad, delighted, sorry, ashamed, thankful, anxious等。同时派生性形容词在翻译时也可转译成动词。
We are not afraid of the future because of a bomb. We are afraid of bombs because we have no faith in the futures.
译文：我们不是因为害怕原子弹而害怕将来，而是因对将来没有信心而害怕原子弹。
The home office was totally uaware of the sales push and had no plans to ship the product.
译文：总公司根本不知道这项促销活动，因而没有装运该产品的计划。
